After six months of planning, departure day arrived! It had been a crazy few weeks leading up to departure. In amongst the final packing and preparations, the kids started school and we undertook some much needed renovations and moved into the final planning phase of the construction of our new home. We decided to delay our departure by a day to avoid a 40'C heatwave and headed off on Sunday morning. We picked up the van from storage in Nowra. First stop... Murramarang.
